I’m here to tell you why Sebz is one of the best restaurants in Gloucester. They should give me an I heart Sebz T-Shirt because this place is hands down one of my favourite restaurants of all time.

The Interior
A cat stealing a fish. A fallen waiter. A guest showered in salad. Not disastrous table service, but the cartoon mural worked onto Sebz white washed walls. This large art piece is a show in itself, with so much going on you can get lost in its action.
At the back is a tasteful storage room, designed with terracotta tiles and false windows to replicate a Mediterranean home. Pair these with ceramic chickens adorning each wooden table , and you find yourself at ease even before your first sip of wine.
The Tapas
One of the reasons I’ve named Sebz as one of the best restaurants in Gloucester, is because they truly offer the best of traditional Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine. I can honestly say the food here is the best Tapas I’ve ever eaten, and I find myself returning again and again.
I’m about to show you some of my favourite dishes, and I realise as I write this that it’s more than half of the tapas menu! It’s a good thing that you can eat as much as you like for just £18.95.

The Service
Another reason I’ve named Sebz as one of the best restaurants in Gloucester, is that you can be sure to get service with a smile. It’s a very small restaurant, but its size adds to the warmth of the place. Food is prepared in the kitchen upstairs, and hoisted down in a purpose lift. Whilst the tapas dishes look minuscule up to a normal portion, don’t be fooled – your belly will get full, very quickly.
To avoid food wastage, Sebz allow each person to order 3 tapas dishes at a time. So if you’re dining with a friend, family or beau, this is a great way to order and try a number of different dishes. What’s even better, as part of there evening special (on set days), you’ll only pay £11.50 if you could only fit in the three dishes.
If you’re visiting for a special occasion and have that ONE fussy person who only eats chips and garlic bread well, Sebz also offers an A la Carte and Pizza menu even for them, making it the perfect venue for a special dinner.
